Nursery: Preschool children are cared for by a child care provider during the 10:00 am liturgy and are encouraged to join in the worship in time for communion.  Contact: the Rev. Nancy Vogele.


 

Church School for K-8 are held takes place on Sunday mornings during the first part of the worship service. Children and youth join the congregation during the exchange of the Peace and join in receiving communion with their families.  There is no Church School on the first Sunday of each month so that every one may worship together.  Talk to any church school teacher or contact the Rev. Nancy Vogele.


Youth Confirmation is open to any young person in the 7th grade (or 12) or older.  Youth meet for weekly classes and field trips for up to 9 months in preparation for the bishop's visitation and confirmation.  Contact the Rev. Nancy Vogele.


"Keeping the Faith" Youth Classes during Lent: Each season of Lent, middle school and high school aged youth meet weekly (on Wednesdays from 4:30-6pm) with the Rector to discuss various aspects or our faith and to learn about and lead a Holy Week service.  Contact the Rev. Nancy Vogele.


Adult Education: There are many opportunities at St. Paul's for adults to deepen their faith. There is an African Bible Study being organized for Advent (Contact the Rev. Judith Marquess at 802-295-1722 or judithmarquess@aol.com).  We also have several 4-6 week classes on different topics throughout the year.  Past class topics have included: the Life of Jesus according to the four Gospels, Racism in our midst, and an Advent series. There are also classes for those wishing to be confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church. Information about current adult education offerings are available from the parish office at 802-295-5415.


The Library has recently moved and therefore in need of some reorganization.  Past volunteers have cataloged the books. Now we need volunteers to arrange them and set up a lending system.   Contact, the Rev. Nancy Vogele.


Education For Ministry (EFM) is a four year weekly program for more in-depth study of scripture, church history, and theology. The format consists of study, worship, and theological reflection in a small group setting.  Contact Leslie Black.


The Diocesan Study Program is a two year monthly adult study group sponsored by the diocese. Like EFM, it is an in-depth experience of learning. Meetings are held at St. Paul's on the third Saturday or each month.   Contact the Rev. John Morris.


Bishop Booth Conference Center (Burlington, VT): The diocese offers retreats two times per year during Advent and Lent, as well as other programs.  Contact Bishop Booth Conference Center, Director, Debi Paterson.


Christmas Pageant, Marionette Show, and other skits: Members of St. Paul's love to "enact" their faith. There are opportunities for young and not-so-young alike.  Contact Paula Stevens.


Rock Point Summer Conferences (Burlington, VT): Each summer, camps are offered for grade-school aged children and adolescents, as well as an all ages (family) camp and an arts camp. Contact Canon Connie Saeger-Proctor, Canon for Youth Ministry.
