Hurricane Irene flood relief work out of St. Paul's Church since September 2011
A brief history of St. Paul's Irene Ministry
more...
February 2012 update: Our ministry of support to those affected by Tropical Storm Irene continues but is in transition. We are currently evaluating what we are being called to do next for those affected by Irene. As you can see from the chart below, the initial emergency response phase is done and yet there is so much more needed.
Please come to a community meeting on Wednesday, February 8th, from 6:30-8:30pm at St. Paul's to celebrate what has been accomplished and to plan our next steps. This discussion will be led by the Rev. Bill Livingston, someone active in emergency relief work through Episcopal Relief and Development.
Below are ways you can help, if you would like to
volunteer your time or be on a weekly email update for flood relief
needs please email us at stpaulsvt@gmail.com.
1. Baked goods are always appreciated (cookies, brownies, banana and zucchini breads, etc.)
2. Financial donations allow us to buy needed items not donated. This includes helping those affect by Irene with bigger needs like wood pellets, fuel assistance, etc. Please make checks out to "St. Paul's Church" and put "Irene" in the memo section. You can mail your check to: St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 749 Hartford Ave., White River Junction, VT 05001.
Thank you!
